What is the

Senior Meal Site?

The Senior Meal Site is a program through the Non-Metro Area on Aging to feed seniors and the general public in Roosevelt County. The purpose is to end senior hunger in our area and provide a nutritious meal. We are open Monday-Friday from 11:30 am until 1:00 pm.

Who can eat at the Meal Site?

Everyone is welcome to eat at the meal site!

How much does it cost?

For seniors age 60 and over, there is a suggested donation of $3.00

For those under age 60, a meal costs $7.00
Since the program is funded by North Central Economic Development District and by Community Services Center, there is no cost to participants on the program. However, due to rising food costs and funding cuts, we need local support to continue serving those in need.

Is there paperwork?

Yes, but it takes no more than 5 minutes to compete. The funding agency for the meal site is North Central New Mexico Economic Development District (NCNMEDD) and they need us to keep track of meals served. By filling out the paperwork, you are helping us keep track of the number of meals served.

As mentioned above, we are funded by NCNMEDD, but not in full. We use our own general fund to cover the remaining portion of the budget. Local support is needed now and in the future for long-term sustainability. If you are interested in helping our cause, please contact us. Information is below.
